TASTE OF AFRICA 2026

Taste of Africa 2026 provided a memorable experience, showcasing the rich tapestry of Africa’s diverse cultures and traditions. Guests enjoyed a lively evening of authentic cultural heritage through an array of culinary delights. The eclectic mix of flavors such as Harissa, Mafe,’ Berbere, Chakalaka, Peri-Peri, and Za’atar contributed to a sensory journey of earthy, spicy, smoky, bold, peppery, and complex notes.

The atmosphere was electrified by the rhythmic sounds of live drummers; a fitting backdrop reflecting the very heartbeat of Africa. Guests were also captivated by Africa-inspired art, fashion, and activities, which highlighted the deep connection to the continent’s history as the cradle of humankind.

As guests engaged in Taste of Africa, they were reminded of the importance of supporting AOEF’s educational initiatives to create lasting change in the lives of orphans and at-risk youth across Africa.
