ARTISTS FOR AFRICA

FINE ART EXHIBIT SUPPORTS EDUCATION
FOR ORPHANS IN AFRICA

Artists for Africa will take place at the Helen M. Salzberg Gallery on the Palm Beach Gardens campus of Palm Beach State College November 2-20, 2026. The juried show will feature some of the area’s most celebrated artists who will present and sell their work to support African Orphan Educational Foundation [AOEF] and its mission to provide hope and empowerment through education to orphans and disadvantaged children in Africa. The show will feature a variety of artists and a broad spectrum of styles, mediums, and themes.

Art collectors, enthusiasts, and guests can meet the artists and enjoy the exhibit at a ticketed kickoff reception 5-7 p.m. on Thursday, November 5, at the gallery. Tickets are $50 at the door or $25 in advance. CLICK HERE to purchase tickets online.

An extended celebration of the exhibit launch for ticketed guests will be held at Brio Italian Grille in The Gardens Mall 7-9 p.m. that same evening. The Artist for Africa exhibit is free to the public during the gallery’s normal operating hours Monday-Thursday, 10 a.m.- 4 p.m.

“More than 32 million primary school-aged children in Africa are not in school,” said Kathie Kreh, president and founder of AOEF. “It is deeply humbling to work with kids who lack the basic resources most Americans take for granted, like education, electricity, and clean water. You feel an irresistible pull to help in some way. This exhibit represents one way our local community is making a difference.”

Katie Deits, a renowned and acclaimed fine artist, curator, and arts executive in Florida, is curating the show. Other supporters include the Helen M. Salzberg Gallery, Palm Beach State College, Juried Art Services, and Brio Italian Grille in Palm Beach Gardens.
